This performance by Charles Bruffy and the Phoenix Chorale was from the "Grammy Night" performance of guest choirs at the 2010 ACDA Northwestern Division Conference in Seattle. The other Grammy-winning ensemble featured on that concert was the Soweto Gospel Choir. The performance was spontaneous and magical, with Maestro Bruffy exploring new musical ideas "on the fly" (you'll note that the women were caught a bit off guard on their first entrance). This was shot by a "fan" from the balcony using a handheld camera, but I think you'll still appreciate that there was something special about this performance.
That's me in the back row, second from the left :-)
